At Scout It Out, we are always on the lookout for high end second hand or new furniture and decorative items to add to our carefully curated selection.

If you have an item you’d like to sell, we have made the process simple and straightforward. Simply click on the description form below or get in touch so we can assist you.

If, for some reason, you are unable to download the form, below is a guideline of what is required:

  • Images: High-quality, magazine-style images to showcase your item in the best possible light, ensuring a quick and successful sale.

  • Description: Provide a detailed description of the item, including the brand, year of purchase, and recommended retail price, if possible. Details such as fabric, finish, and features increase the likelihood of a successful sale.

  • Dimensions: Accurate measurements or configuration are crucial for buyers to determine if the item will fit in their space.

  • Style, Origin, and Designer: This valuable information serves as a testament to the exceptional quality of the item, enhancing its overall appeal and desirability. For example, a mid-century piece originally from Denmark by designer Arne Jacobsen.

  • Receipt of Purchase: If possible, include the receipt of purchase. This will also showcase what great value the item is and increase the likelihood of a successful sale.

  • Condition: Fully disclose any wear and tear to ensure that buyers know exactly what they're getting and avoid disappointment.

  • Location of the item: This helps us provide accurate information about shipping and delivery options.

  • Urgency of sale: This will assist us in trying to get your item sold as quickly as possible.

Once we have this information, we will list the item quickly and deal with all the interest and questions on your behalf. If you aren’t able to provide all of this, just do the best you can.
